I have a theory that the reason brides cry at previews is not the hair. It is that they see themselves clearly for the first time in months, and it lands.
Previews are the most important appointment in the whole process and the one brides almost cancel when they get busy. So let me make the case for why it exists and what it actually does.
First, it removes risk. On wedding morning, we are executing a plan rather than experimenting. That is the entire difference between a calm bride and a nervous one.
Second, it reveals problems while there is time. The photo you loved does not work with your hair. The veil comb does not sit where you thought. The extensions you were considering are actually necessary. All of that is solvable at the preview and not solvable on the day.
Third, it is where we learn what products your hair responds to, how long the style takes, and which side photographs better.
How to prepare. Bring photos of your dress, your veil, and three hairstyles you love plus one you hate, because the hate is often more informative. Come with hair washed the night before, roughly dried. Bring your accessories. Do not bring an audience unless you want opinions.
How long it takes: about ninety minutes, sometimes two with extensions.
Previews are included in the $1,000 Bride Experience. inquire to book yours, and the full investment is online.
