A bridal preview is not a dress rehearsal. It is a working appointment, and the brides who get the most out of it come prepared to give direction rather than to be delighted. Here is exactly what to bring and what to decide, based on fifteen years of previews that went well and a few that went sideways.
Bring photos, but bring the right ones. Three is plenty: one of the overall shape, one of the back, one of a texture detail you love. Screenshots of a hundred saved looks make it harder to find your actual preference. Also bring one photo of a style you dislike, because it tells us more than the ones you love.
Bring your veil, your hair accessories, and your earrings. This is non-negotiable. A comb that does not fit a finished chignon is a problem best discovered in a preview rather than at nine in the morning on your wedding day.
Bring a shirt in the neckline of your dress, or the dress itself if you can. The neckline changes what the hair should do, and we cannot judge balance against a t-shirt.
Come with clean, dry hair, washed the night before, no product. We need to see your actual texture. Do not flat iron it first, even if that is how you usually wear it.
Have an opinion about one thing. Not five. If you know you want your hair off your neck, say so. If you hate a center part, say so. The rest is ours to solve.
Previews are part of the Bride Experience at $1,000. Our investment page lists what is included, and inquire is where to start.
