Everyone assumes the trial is where you decide your hairstyle. It is actually where you discover the three or four details nobody warned you about, and those details matter more than the shape.
First, how your hair behaves in the real room. A trial in a bright air-conditioned studio tells you very little. I try to preview in real light, ideally at your venue or somewhere similar, and I watch how the style reacts to air and time rather than just how it looks at the end.
Second, your hair's actual tolerance. Some hair takes a set and holds it for fourteen hours. Some hair collapses in three no matter what is applied. You will know by the end of the preview, and we plan the morning accordingly, including a touch-up window if needed.
Third, the veil. Almost every bride tries her veil for the first time on the wedding day. That is too late to discover the comb does not grip, the length fights your updo, or the blusher covers your face in a way you did not expect.
Fourth, the photograph test. I photograph the style from the front, the back, and the profile in daylight and show you the images before you leave. What you see in a mirror and what a camera sees are genuinely different, and the camera wins.
Fifth, comfort. Can you turn your head, hug someone, eat, and dance? Test all of it in the chair, not at the reception.
