My approach is a strong silhouette with a soft interior. Defined outline, smooth crown, movement in the back. That combination reads formal in the ballroom and relaxed in the waterfront photographs, which is exactly what a venue with both spaces needs.
Jupiter wind is the real variable. The club sits close enough to the water that outdoor portraits get genuine breeze, and the inlet funnels it in a way that surprises brides. So the front gets set with directional hold, above the ears gets a quiet anchor, and I test the whole thing with the bride walking outdoors for thirty seconds before we call it done. If something lifts in that test, we fix it in the chair, not in the photograph.
I also plan the morning around two things at Jupiter: the drive, and the light. Traffic on the north end of the county is real, so I build buffer. And morning portrait light at the water is best early, which pulls the whole schedule earlier than brides expect. A 7 a.m. start is normal here and it is why the day feels unhurried.
