The Boca Raton has been a landmark for a century, and the current version of it is genuinely spectacular: the tower suites, the beach club across the water, the lake lawn where ceremonies happen with that view back at the buildings. It is one of the busiest wedding addresses in South Palm Beach County, and I know its rhythms well.
Hair here should feel resort-polished. That means movement with control, shine that reads in bright Florida sun, and structure that survives a walk from the tower to the lawn in July. I favor soft waves with a set base, or an updo with visible intent rather than a tight shell.
The property is large enough that logistics actually matter. The getting-ready suite, the ceremony site, and the reception ballroom can be a ten-minute walk apart, so build that into the schedule. I plan arrival with a buffer for valet, elevator, and load-in, and I confirm the room number the week before.
The morning is the thing to protect. For a party of eight, we start early and stagger services so the bride is never last in a crowded room. At seven or more hair services I bring a second artist automatically. Party hair is $225 per person, bride hair is part of the $1,000 Bride Experience, and extra on-location hours, when the day runs long, are $400 an hour.
One local note: Saturday traffic on Federal and A1A in season is real. If your ceremony is at four, your hair team needs to be parked and set up before noon.
