Hair in a private estate is a planning exercise before it is a styling one. We ask three questions at booking: where is the flattest wall with the best light, is there an outlet within reach, and can we get in three hours before the first appointment. Get those answered and the morning works. Assume them and the morning starts with an extension cord hunt.
The styling itself is usually relaxed and a little more personal. Brides in a family home tend to want hair that looks like themselves, not like a wedding magazine. A soft wave set, a low knot with a face frame, a half-up that lets the dress lead.
One advantage private estates have over venues: no schedule but yours. If you want to sit in the chair for ninety minutes and have a glass of something, there is nobody waiting for the room. That is a luxury worth using.
