For nine months of the year, South Florida is a hair problem. For three, it is a gift, and brides who marry in those three months should know how lucky they are. Here is the month-by-month reality of a Palm Beach County hair calendar.
January and February are the best months in Florida to be married. Low humidity, cool evenings, no storms. Hair styled at nine in the morning looks the same at nine at night. If you have flexibility, marry in this window. Previews booked in January are always our most accurate.
March and April are still lovely but warmer, and by late April the humidity has started. Beautiful light, longer days, but a style needs a smoothing base rather than just a good blowout.
May is a transition month. Dry mornings, sudden humidity, the first afternoon storms. Nothing terrible, but plan a rain option and build a firmer base.
June through September is the hard season. High humidity, daily storms, and heat that undoes a loose style by noon. This is when we push brides toward structure: chignons, braided bases, low shapes that sit against the head. And this is when a rain plan is not optional.
October and November are the reward. The humidity breaks, the light turns gold, and November might be the single most beautiful wedding month in the county.
December is busy, gorgeous, and cool enough for any style you want. Book early.
