The second characteristic is finish. Palm Beach brides want hair that looks conditioned and expensive. That means shine, not gloss, and it means a smoothing layer applied correctly rather than a lot of product applied hopefully.
Third is timing. Island weddings rarely run long, because the clubs run on schedule and the planners are excellent. That works in your favor: a well-built style will still be perfect at the end of the night with no touching.
What I would avoid on the island: heavy face-framing, very high volume, and anything overtly trend-forward. Save the sculptural trend pieces for a city wedding or a gala. In Palm Beach, the goal is to look like the best version of yourself, in a room full of people who have known you for twenty years.
