Most deep conditioners are built for damaged hair, which means they are built heavy. If your hair is healthy and you use one weekly in the month before your wedding, you will end up with soft, limp hair that will not hold a curl. The distinction matters in Florida. Use it on a Sunday, not the night before anything. Hair needs a wash cycle to settle after a mask. If your wedding is Saturday, the last mask should be the previous weekend, and the final wash on Thursday or Friday morning depending on your texture.
One note for brides with extensions. Bonded hair, especially k-tips, holds conditioner differently, and heavy product at the bond can cause slipping. Keep any mask at least an inch off the bonds and rinse thoroughly with the head tilted back so nothing pools at the scalp.
