Moroccanoil Treatment is the most famous hair product in the world, and it deserves the reputation. It is also, for a bride with fine hair, frequently the reason her updo slides apart by cocktail hour.
Treatment Light exists for exactly that bride. Same argan base, same shine, a fraction of the weight. If your hair is fine, or if it is medium but very straight and slippery, this is the version I want in your kit. The original is for thick, coarse, or genuinely dry hair. Using the wrong one is not a disaster. It is just an unnecessary handicap on a day when you cannot fix it.
Amount matters more than which bottle. For shoulder-length fine hair, one pump, warmed between the palms, pressed from mid-shaft to ends. Not raked through the root. Not applied to soaking wet hair. On damp hair, ends only, then blow dry. That is the whole method.
I also use it as a finishing touch on the wedding morning, half a pump at most, on the very ends of a chignon or a ponytail, to make the tail read as healthy in photographs rather than dry. Flash photography is unforgiving about dry ends.
One thing worth saying plainly: no oil fixes split ends, and no oil adds hold. If you are buying one product to solve a styling problem, buy the right hairspray. If you are buying one product to make your hair look expensive in a photograph, buy this.
