For hair, that east-facing lawn is the whole story. An east-facing ceremony in the morning is beautiful and brutally bright. An east-facing ceremony at five is in soft, low, reflected light, which is the most flattering light in the county. Most couples here choose the later window, and it is the right call.
Wind is constant. The resort's lawn is unprotected, and there is nothing between the ceremony site and Africa. If your style depends on being perfectly smooth, this venue will test it. We build for Jupiter Beach with a firm interior and a soft surface and we accept that some movement is part of the aesthetic here. Brides who fight the wind look tense in photographs. Brides who plan for it look like they belong on that lawn.
A practical note on the resort's layout: the walk from the getting-ready rooms to the ceremony lawn crosses a lobby and a pool deck, so it is both long and public. Plan the veil and the train for that walk. We time the final check for just before you leave the room, not earlier, so nothing has a chance to fail in transit.
Rain contingency is a real consideration from June through October. Ask the resort for the indoor backup and find out how quickly it can be activated, because a plan that takes forty minutes to execute is not a plan.
Style-wise, Jupiter Beach brides lean relaxed and sun-warmed: soft waves, loose braids, low buns with a loose top. It is a beach town and the hair should not pretend otherwise.
