Ionic Club is one of those Palm Beach Gardens clubs with a spa that brides already trust, which means half my inquiries from that part of the county come with a tour of the facilities. It is a genuinely well-designed venue for a wedding morning, and that changes the advice I give.
What the venue asks of hair: clean, healthy-looking polish. The club has a spa sensibility, so brides there tend to want hair that looks cared for rather than constructed. Smooth waves, a low chignon, a neat half-up. Nothing that reads as a hair trend.
The technical advantage: when a bride gets ready on-site, her timeline is honest. There is no drive, no gate, no arrival variables, and I can build a schedule where the final thirty minutes before her first look are actually protected. That is a luxury in Palm Beach County.
What I plan differently at a spa venue: I use the spa's own shower facilities for one specific thing, a final cool rinse if the bride washed that morning and her hair has gone soft. Ten minutes under cool water and a proper dry changes how a style holds.
Timeline notes: seven or more hair services triggers a second artist. Ionic weddings often run eight to ten, so we typically have two artists and a third for larger parties. The spa rooms can be booked for early access, which is worth asking about.
The light: indoor spa lighting is warm and flattering for getting-ready photos, but it is not the light your ceremony will be in. I always finish the style, then check it in daylight before you dress.
If Ionic Club is your venue, inquire with your date. Bride Experience $1,000, party hair $225 per person, and full investment here.
