Golden Hour Glamour

Timing Your Wedding Day Beauty

July 5, 2025

Golden hour — that brief window of warm, diffused light just before sunset — is every photographer's favorite time. It's when your portraits will glow.

But golden hour timing affects your entire day. If your ceremony is at 5 PM and golden hour portraits are at 6:30, your hair needs to look flawless from 10 AM through 8 PM — a full ten hours.

This is where artistry meets engineering. We design your look to hold. We consider your hair type, the humidity of a South Florida evening, the physical activity of dancing, and the natural settling that occurs over a long day.

We also work closely with your photographer and planner to build a timeline that protects your beauty. When are portraits? When is the hair change? When will you be in direct sun versus shade?

A well-timed beauty timeline ensures you look extraordinary in every photograph — from the first getting-ready shot to the last dance.
