Fort Lauderdale brides ask me this constantly: can you travel, and what does it cost? The answer is yes, and the cost conversation is worth having early because it is the one line item people get surprised by. Here is exactly how it works.
My home base is Palm Beach County. Fort Lauderdale is roughly forty-five minutes to an hour depending on where in Broward you are and what time we drive. For a morning call time, that usually means leaving before six, which is fine, but it does mean the travel is real work and it is priced honestly rather than hidden in the service rate.
Travel beyond my standard service area is quoted per booking and appears on your proposal before you sign anything. I never add travel to a final invoice as a surprise. If a venue is an hour out, you know it on day one, and you can compare it against the cost of getting ready closer to home.
There is a genuinely cheaper option most brides do not consider: get ready in Palm Beach County and drive to Fort Lauderdale finished. If your ceremony is late afternoon, this is often the smartest plan. The hair is done in a space I know, the drive is calm, and you save the travel fee entirely. For morning ceremonies it does not work, and I will tell you so.
Pricing for a Fort Lauderdale wedding is otherwise identical: Bride Experience $1,000, party hair $225 per person, bride makeup $1,000, party makeup $225 per person, extra on-location hours $400 each. Everything, including travel terms, is on the investment page.
