The Florida Keys have a look, and it is not the same as the mainland's. Brides who marry in Islamorada, Marathon, or Key West are usually planning a weekend rather than a day, and the hair has to serve three events in salt air.
Start with the water. Islamorada's bay side is calm and its ocean side is not. A ceremony at a bayfront resort gets a gentle breeze; a ceremony on the Atlantic gets wind you can lean into. Ask which side, and we will style accordingly.
The look is relaxed but deliberate: a beachy wave set with a sealed finish, a braided half-up, a low bun with a flower. We avoid anything that needs a mirror, because resort bathrooms are small and the light is unpredictable.
Product strategy matters more than style here. Salt and sun degrade everything, so we use a leave-in barrier before styling, a salt-free texturizer for movement, and a sealant on the ends. Reapply mid-day if you are doing portraits near the water.
For the weekend: welcome party styling is $225 per person per service, the wedding morning is the Bride Experience at $1,000 plus party hair at $225 per person, and a day-after session is $500. Trailing hours are $400 each if you want a reception reset.
