Delray Beach has quietly become one of the best places in Palm Beach County to get married, and the hair reflects the town: relaxed, sun-warmed, and more stylish than it lets on. Here is how we approach a Delray wedding.
Start with which Delray you mean. Atlantic Avenue is lively and walkable, with venues that put you on the sidewalk in your dress. The beachfront is quieter, with the Seagate and the Opal Grand anchoring the north end. West Delray is country club territory: polo, golf, gardens, and long driveways. Three different towns, three different hair plans.
The Avenue wants polish with movement. A wave set with a deep part, a low pony with a wrap, a soft chignon with tendrils. It photographs well against storefronts and stucco, and it survives a walk to the ceremony.
The beach wants wind strategy. Anchor the base, skip the cathedral veil, and choose a shape that holds under lateral pressure. The ocean breeze on Delray's sand is stronger than brides expect.
The country clubs want classic. A clean chignon, a smooth blowout, a half-up with volume. Nothing fussy.
Timing note: Delray traffic on a Saturday afternoon is real, and Atlantic Avenue closes for events more often than you would think. Check the city calendar before you set a ceremony time, and we will build the morning around it.
Bridal hair is $1,000, party hair is $225 per person, and trailing hours are $400 each. We spell it out on the investment page. inquire with your Delray venue.
