A small brave group of couples marry in Christmas week every year, and after fifteen years of December weddings, I can report it's the county's most quietly spectacular week to do it.
Why Christmas week works here: the snowbirds are home and the social calendar is at full sail, but the wedding calendar goes quiet — venues have availability you'd never see in season, and getting-ready mornings have a calm peak season can't manufacture. One bride told me the whole town was decorated for her wedding; she wasn't entirely wrong.
