The solution starts with a real time budget. A simple down style takes about thirty minutes. A blowout with waves takes forty. An updo takes forty-five to fifty. Multiply by your party, add fifteen for the bride, and you have the real number. Seven bridesmaids wanting three different looks is five hours in one chair.
Second, offer a menu rather than freedom. Give your party three approved options that all work in photographs together, and let them pick from those. This is not controlling. It is the difference between a coherent group portrait and seven unrelated hairstyles.
Third, stack the schedule by complexity. The most complex requests go first, the simplest last, so a slow start does not cascade into a rushed finish. And put the bride last, always.
Fourth, if the math does not work, add an artist. At seven or more hair services, a second artist joins, and that is arithmetic rather than luxury. Nine services in two chairs finishes in about two and a half hours, which leaves time for photographs, food, and a calm forty minutes.
