Boca Raton has a very specific wedding season, and it is not the one brides from other parts of the country expect. Understanding the calendar makes planning dramatically easier.
High season runs from November through April. The weather is dry, the light is clear, and every venue in the city is booked. If you want a Saturday in February at a club or a hotel, the conversation starts a year or more ahead, and vendors fill in a predictable order: venue, photographer, planner, then artists and florals.
Shoulder season is May and October. This is the underrated window. You get most of the weather benefit with a fraction of the competition, and vendors are more available, which means better scheduling and often better pricing.
Summer is June through September, and it is genuinely hot. But summer weddings in Boca have real advantages: the light is dramatic, vendors are available, and a summer wedding planned well, early ceremony, indoor portraits, air-conditioned everything, is beautiful and calm.
The specific summer obstacle is the afternoon storm, which is reliable enough to plan around rather than fear. Morning and early afternoon ceremonies avoid it entirely.
The other calendar note: Jewish holidays, school breaks, and the Palm Beach social season all overlap between January and March, so a date that seems open may conflict with a family obligation nobody has mentioned yet.
