That range is why Boca Resort weddings need a venue-specific plan rather than a general one. A ceremony in the cloister is enclosed, shaded, and still. A ceremony on the waterfront lawn is open, bright, and breezy. The same hairstyle performs in exactly one of those two.
If you are in the cloister or a ballroom: you can style smooth, and you should. The architecture is ornate and the light is low, so a polished chignon, a sleek pony, or a controlled wave set has room to breathe. Shine reads beautifully in that lighting.
If you are on the lawn or a terrace: build for movement. Firm interior, soft surface, pinned sides, and a veil anchored properly so it lifts rather than wraps. The light out there is beautiful and unforgiving, and every bit of frizz shows backlit.
A logistics note that matters: the resort is large, and the walk from a tower suite to a ceremony space can be ten minutes. Ask your coordinator for the exact route and whether there is a golf cart. A bride who has been walked through a resort in July heat before her ceremony needs a plan for that.
Also confirm which getting-ready space you have. The newer rooms have excellent light. Some of the older suites have warm, dim lighting that flatters nobody at the preview. We bring daylight lamps either way, but if you have a choice, choose the light.
For a party of eight with hair and makeup, plan on four hours and two hair artists. The resort's rental windows are generous, but the morning is not.
