Boca Beach Club sits where the inlet meets the ocean, and it gives a bride something rare: a formal club and a real beach in the same property. The hair brief changes depending on which one you use first.
If your ceremony is on the sand, treat it like any oceanfront event: pinned shapes, controlled fronts, light product, and expect the wind. The inlet breeze is stronger than a straight ocean breeze because it funnels. A low chignon built with a genuine crown anchor will hold; anything loose will not.
If your ceremony is indoors, the club's rooms are bright and formal, and the light is even and clean. That flatters smooth finishes and reveals texture irregularities, so I am careful about a consistent wave pattern. The rooms also run cool, which means I do not need to overbuild hold.
The best of both worlds is the transition. Boca Beach Club is well set up for a ceremony on the sand and a reception inside, and if you can get ten minutes in a suite between them, a quick reset makes the reception photos noticeably better. That is worth asking your planner for.
For the party, the beach side is where hair goes wrong. Bridesmaids in loose styles on that sand will all be at different stages of collapse by the ceremony. Pinned options across the board solve it.
