Amrit Ocean Resort on Singer Island is the newest serious wellness property in Palm Beach County, and it has quietly become one of my favorite venues to work. The architecture is clean, the light is extraordinary, and the whole place is designed to make people breathe slower.
That calm changes the hair brief. Brides who choose Amrit are not looking for ballroom volume. They want something modern and pared back: a low twisted shape, a smooth chignon with a single ridge, a soft half-up with no visible hardware. The building is minimal, and hair should match it.
The complication is the water. Singer Island means oceanfront terraces and open-air ceremonies where the salt air is doing something to every strand. Salt makes hair feel thicker, which is lovely for hold and terrible for smoothness. I start with a smoothing base, not a volumizing one, and I finish with a light mist rather than a hard spray.
Sunrise ceremonies are common here, and they are my favorite thing about the property. The light comes in low and gold, and it makes polished hair look lit from within. The tradeoff is a very early call time. If you are the bride plus six, that means a second artist and a 4:30 a.m. start.
The Bride Experience is $1,000, party hair is $225 per person, and a second artist joins at seven or more hair services. Extra on-location hours are $400 per hour if the day stretches. All of it is on the investment page.
