Abacoa is Jupiter's answer to a walkable neighborhood, and the golf club there hosts weddings that feel younger and looser than most of the county's clubs. That energy is a gift for hair. Brides here tend to want movement, texture, and something that looks good in both a portrait and a candid.
My recommendation for this venue is almost always a textured style with a soft perimeter. Beachy waves half-up, a loose low bun with visible bend, a braided crown that sits slightly asymmetric. These photograph beautifully in Jupiter's late light and they never look like they were assembled from a Pinterest board.
Texture has a catch in Florida, though. Texture that is not properly set becomes frizz by four o'clock. So I build it with a curling iron on a controlled temperature, hold each section until cool, then break the curl with my fingers and very little product. That gets the look without the threat.
Getting-ready logistics are straightforward, and Jupiter traffic is manageable compared to the island. I still plan generously, because Abacoa wedding parties skew large and young, which means a lot of hair services and a lot of opinions. A second artist joins past seven services, and we assign styles ahead of time so nobody debates in the chair.
