The clean-girl minimal look is still the dominant instinct, and I am glad. It puts the emphasis on healthy hair, a beautiful part, and a shape that reads as the bride rather than as a hairstyle. But minimal has a trap: it only works when the foundation is excellent. A flat blowout with a middle part is not minimal, it is unfinished, and the camera knows the difference.
